It means you don’t have to adhere to a particular religion to hold federal office.
Doesn’t mean you can’t ban muslimes. Muslimes are incompatible with freedom. You will have to learn that the hard way and are obviously ok with terrorist groups meeting with congress
The Constitution is not a suicide pact

If you ban Muslims you are imposing a religious test by excluding one religion. That also violates the equal protection guarantee in the Constitution. You confuse Islam with Islamists. Most Muslims are no more devout than most Christians and terrorists are gangsters and thugs with no religious convictions.
If Muslims were a terrorist threat I would never get out of a convenience store alive.
You want to deny the freedoms the Constitution guarantees. Most of the mass murders at schools, churches, etc. have been white male Christians. Maybe we should ban them from congressional offices.

The No Religious Test Clause of the United States Constitution is a clause within Article VI, Clause 3. By its plain terms, no federal officeholder or employee can be required to adhere to or accept any particular religion or doctrine as a prerequisite to holding a federal office or a federal government job.

Nobody has advocated that Muslims adhere to or accept any particular religion or doctrine, have they?
