No wonder some of these college types think they deserve everything to be handed to them. They aren't taught how to fail and get back up and try again. They aren't taught that sometimes you're incorrect.

Rather than 20 years of student loan debt, I think most average American kids should seriously consider smaller community colleges and trades where they can get out and start making money with minimal debt.

An influx of people into the trades is too late. the liberals made up slogans like "work smart, not hard" and now were a full generation plus into disdain for manual labor. The illegals filled the void and kept the wages low in the trades that require little skill. Painting, roofing, siding, sheetrock and taping, and landscaping are all examples of trades dominated by companies that use illegal help and the prices are already lower than would be if there weren't the option to cheat the IRS.
