Default General Motors closing down plants. Thousands of workers to lose jobs.

    So much winning.

General Motors is another corporation that is closing down production in America.

Hopefully the thousands of workers who are about to lose their jobs are republicunts. They can enjoy their tax cuts while looking for another job.

Surprise more "mismanagement" from a company that should have been allowed to go belly up in 2008. The corporation should have been sold off to the highest bidder not bailed out by tax payer money that funded nothing more than a Union that was then allowed to take over 50% ownership of that corporation on the tax payer dime. Sounds like the FLAT NOSES are no better at running a large corporation than was Obama the self appointed CEO.

Who'd a thunk it? A company that took advantage of the American People for a hundred years can't stand the competition of a better product at a cheaper manufacturing cost. That's what happens when you manufacturer pieces of shit for 4 decades and sell them at rip off prices. Nothing happened to General Motors but GENERAL MOTORS. You want to blame someone? Blame BIG BROTHER who regulated GM out of the auto industry almost all together.

Such a juxtaposition has become common for GM as Barra and her executive team implement billions of dollars in cost-cutting measures in preparation for the next economic downturn and shift the company's focus toward costly, emerging technologies such as autonomous and fully electric vehicles. Shrinking its employee ranks is part of the plan, especially on the manufacturing side of its business, but GM also is sending a message that it's working to change the makeup of the work force that remains.

I wonder how the 50% owners (the UAW) will take the news? LMAO GM committed suicide beginning in the 70s going through to the early 90s.....selling cheap pieces of shit that could not compete with the competition that made a better product at a cheaper cost. Sounds like trade tariffs should have been implemented when Trump first suggested them to get a better deal.

Time will tell if their gamble going with electric cars and automation will pay off or they commit suicide, again.
