I am still waiting for a plausible explanation for why teabaggers have spent political careers and message board careers calling western Europe "socialist", but teabaggers now very belatedly do not want the word "socialism" associated with Sweden, Denmark, France, Germany, Norway, Netherlands, Finland, Iceland, et al.
Why the extremely sudden flip flop??
Sorry, it is way too late for you to back track, retreat, and walk back what Republican politicians and rightwing message board posters have been claiming for years: That western Europe, Scandinavia, France, Denmark, Norway, Iceland, and President Obama are "socialist".European socialism taking root in US, Fox Business News’ Stuart Varney says

If Sweden isn't socialist then neither is Barack Obama. But you teabaggers spent 8 years calling Obama a "socialist' -- so you have a lot of explaining to do now.
The burden is on you to explain the sudden back flip, the mental gymnastics, the sudden retreat from characterizing western Europe and Barack Obama as "socialist"
Leading Republicans Refer to Western Europe as "Socialists"
....(and let's not forget, rightwing message boarders have spent years calling western Europe "socialist")......
Lately it seems that not a day goes by without a Republican presidential candidate portraying Europe as a socialist nightmare. Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum paint a picture of the Old World as unfree, strangulated by bureaucratic and inefficient welfare systems, and unable to reform and modernize. To these Republicans, Europe seems to be the antipode to everything America is meant to be.

Leading Republicans Call Western Europe "Socialist"
Newt Gingrich has constantly accused the president of being a "European Socialist", often adding in a reference to an all-but-forgotten community activist from Chicago, who died in 1972, but whose Democratic-leaning writings are thought to have influenced the current president
"I am for the Declaration of Independence; he is for the writing of Saul Alinsky. I am for the Constitution; he is for European socialism," Mr Gingrich told voters in Florida last week.

Bill O'Reilly noted rightwing blowhard: Western Europe is basically socialist
"I received a letter from Rhonda Hallett who lives in Jacksonville, North Carolina asking me to define Bernie's doctrine of Democratic socialism. Ok. That's basically what some countries in western Europe have, a political system that limits personal income through taxation in return for cradle to grave payouts from the governments. That's the trade."

There is only one definition for socialism. You cannot just decide to throw into something to make it sound like it is not. Progressives, liberals and Democrat who do not really know what it is need to get an education on it.

In other words, you simply cannot explain why teabaggers spent careers calling western Europe "socialist", but all of a sudden, very belatedly, and in an extraordinary effort at flip flopping and back tracking, you do not want the word "socialism" associated with western Europe.

You also have not explained how, if Sweden is not socialist, then why teabaggers spent 8 years calling Obama socialist.

All non-autocratic government is socialism--things we choose to do collectively.
No socialism = either anarchy or autocracy.
Right wings nut jobs shouldn't be allowed to define the word as they choose.
Their grasp of language and meaning is deficient from every perspective.
Deficiency, both intellectual and moral, is what defines a Trumpanzee or any reactionary "conservative."
America is in deep trouble, and much of it is attributable to an insufficient commitment to public education.
There's nothing the corporate oligarchs like more than an ignorant electorate, and their being blessed with one here in America is why we're on the precipice of swirling down history's toilet as a relevant nation.

Again your idiocy precedes you, you and your socialist brethren used those as examples of socialism I didn't, Obama wanted the Venezuelan type. Swedish people pay exorbitant taxes especially the rich who do the same thing the rich here do spanky! The take it to off shore accounts to avoid all the taxation. Tell me oh socialist lover, how much is to much for any one person to pay, and are you sending extra to the Government to set a good example. No one person should pay a higher percentage than the next, because equal is equal right! In fact if you make more than I do send me the difference>
This is another incredibly stupid thread by bullshit blob, who in fairness, is intellectually capable only of stupid posts.
Even as I embrace the term "socialism," he comments on our running away from it.
"Fascistic liberals" on its face reveals the incapacity of blob to use intelligible language. The poor troglodyte is illiterate.
