The Jewish and Christian concepts of Satan are extreme opposites. Why does Christianity's Devil dominate the New Testament, while you hardly ever read of Satan in the Tanach?
Christianity is meant to be based on the Tanach, yet it contradicts its teachings. It has no basis. God is the most powerful being and everything is done with his approval, so how can they even propose that Satan creates evil?

I don’t know if it’s the NT as much as it is the subsequent religious leaders who realized it was a great way to control the masses with fear of eternal punishment if they didn’t pray, pay and obey. You always need an enemy to create fear and control.
