He's not going to end support for Israel, but there may be new limits to that open-ended support. Iran is Israel's proxy war in the making and Hillary Clinton will engage in it even before McCain would.

Who are these "interested steak (sic) holders" you speak of? And why in the hell would they be nervous about diplomatic discussions with Iran? It isn't as if Obama would sellout American and Israeli interests to Iran. The purpose of any discussions would be to benefit American and Israeli interests. Do you think this shit through?
Keep in mind that the Israelis have just entered into diplomatic discussions with Syria. And this is after the Israelis destroyed a supposed Syrian nuclear facility. Somehow I doubt that the United States holding discussions with Iran would make "interested steak (sic) holders" nervous.
The Israelis aren't as afraid of diplomacy and negotiation as the American right-wing nutters. In fact, I imagine most of the Israeli leadership and the Israeli people would be insufficiently hawkish on issues affecting Israel to run as the Republican candidate for president in the United States.
I'd also add that the idea that the American Jewish community will vote for McCain in large numbers is laughable.
