You see no problem with young kids being told/taught the world could end in a decade? (That has nothing to do with red or blue states or Trump)

To ABORT something is to disengage or stop something which is in progress.
A pregnancy can be "aborted" as the countdown to delivery is on and the life is killed within the womb.
And, AFTER the life has finished its mission INSIDE the womb and is delivered to its new purpose OUTSIDE the womb, it is not aborted, but murdered.

As far as these kids being "brainwashed" and the supposed brainwashing being done by the schools, I think people who think that are missing the obvious.

It's highly doubtful those kids even understood much about the issue, the proposed legislation they were supporting or Feinstein's position on it.

I think it's very likely if not highly probable that their parents coached them and put them up to it.

Stop blaming public education for every behavior or failing by kids that you don't like.

Parents have much more influence over children than the policies or curriculum of the school they attend.
