A federal judge spared the Trump-loving political trickster from jail and allowed him to remain free on bond Thursday after he confessed to the “stupidity” of his posting a photo on social media featuring her face next to an apparent rifle scope crosshair.
But Judge Amy Berman Jackson made clear in no uncertain terms that she didn’t buy Stone’s desperate apologies and imposed a strict gag order barring him from speaking publicly in any shape or form about Robert Mueller’s investigation.
“Thank you, but the apology rings quite hollow,” Jackson told Stone.
She also warned she’ll send him straight to the slammer if he tries any similar shenanigans in the future.
