1) Anatta/noise/whoever-else-the-fuck-they-are wants to create a sense that there's more popular support for their positions than actually exists. So they invent characters that can lend artificial support to what are unpopular, weak arguments.

2) They do that because they burn through their credibility so fast, that they need to re-establish themselves under different ID's to "start over" again. But this never works because we can drag their personalities out through the debate. They're not as clever as they want people to think.

That is exactly what happened.

Conservatives were already duped by 40 years of propaganda (trickle-down, tax cuts, deregulation, preemptive war, gay marriage scaring them, single payer health care will result in less care, etc.) that turned their brains into mush, which made it simple for a shitty conman like Trump, with Russia's help, to con them and actually get them to participate in the con by sharing that Russian propaganda.

This cuts to the core of Conservative character; you have to be of rotten character to buy the propaganda, and you have to be of even worse character to disseminate it.

They do not care if they spread propaganda because they live vicariously through Trump. Which is fine. It just makes it that much easier for us to know whose lifeboats we must burn after this.

Conservatives like anatta, Legion, noise, Stretch, et al participated in the con because they were desperate. 8 years of bad Conservative predictions about Obama and Clinton never came to pass and rather than own up to the fact that they were conned into supporting and making those predictions, they went further down the rabbit hole and actively participated in the con by disseminating propaganda.
