I'm sure that's true for some. For most of us who use them though, they're handy to avoid the virulent racism, homophobia, hate, and stupidity that runs rampant around here. It's also a handy tool when you have obsessed morons who can't stop thinking and talking about you, but not in a nice way, even though you don't respond to their sickness. Here's an example now!

There are several RW posters here who I enjoy debating and discussing issues with. They mostly manage to remain civil, don't feel the need to get into personal attacks, and when challenged on an issue of fact they can back up their statements with credible sources. Life is too short to waste it on the hater losers like CFM, TDAK, Grumpy, etc.
