Not surprising, it always comes back to Trump.
Why are you so obsessed with Trump. You must think about him daily. Do want to suck his cock?
A lot of the politicians in Congress made their money the same way. Investment brokers and developers.
Pelosi owns a hotel too. I bet you she does allow homeless people in her hotel.

    Hey thanks for the opinion.

The thing about Federal sales taxes, is there are states that have state sales tax already, on top of local sales taxes.

By the time you add up all of the local, state, and federal sales taxes on say the purchase of an automobile, you could be paying taxes of over $12,000 on the average cost of new cars today at $36,000.

People would be having to finance their tax payments along with tax, title and license making their payments cost 15% more and paying interest on that as well.

Can you imagine what kind of Federal taxes one would pay for the average price of a home at today's prices. The average cost of a new home alone is now over $280,000. What is the federal sales tax rate? A Federal sales tax at 15% would be $42,000. How would families pay that come the following April 15th?

Of course you could mortgage the taxes in on the closing costs, however that would make the average cost of housing to be somewhere over $322,000.

95% of Americans would never be able to qualify for home ownership ever again.

Do you understand just how fucking stupid you are? I did not limit it to 100, I said as a clue it was over 100. In fact it is 1/3 of all corporations, and many have not paid any for years. In fact, Bezos has not and look at the billions he has profited. Look at how much he made off this latest scam of "searching" for a new site for HQ2.

Give it a break. You fucking idiots would sell your mother if you thought a rich guy would buy her.

To be honest, I don't care how much in taxes these corporations paid. In my 50 years of working, the country has continued to move forward. In my 50 years of employment I was paid a good salary by these evil corporations. I was able to raise my family because these evil corporations provided me with employment.
I accomplished 50 years of working by working hard, going to school, working many hours a week.
Be more concerned with yourself and less with others.

Why do you care if a corporation pays lower or no taxes. How does that harm you.
Don't you think there might be other benefits these corporation provide?

Of course you don't look for any way to lower your tax obligations.
it's less tax money for their socialist utopia.

good description of a corporate providing a path for a individual to succeed

fact is, if one set of made up "facts" doesn't work you'll just make up a different one.....if you don't like a corporation legally using the tax code to calculate their taxes, maybe you ought to change the tax code when you're party is in control........oh wait, they were and they didn't do that did they?......

    Wrong, as usual.

Why do you have a problem with people keeping more of what is already theirs in the first place?

Harris doesn't want to give middle class families $500/month. She wants to give them $500/month of someone else's money. If SHE wanted to give it, SHE would write a personal check.

Not true at all. That is speculative hyperbole and untrue. The average car today is about $40,000. The tax would be $9,200. Used cars would require NO new taxes. Remember, you are no longer paying any Federal, Medicare or SS taxes. Most of your income is yours.

As to your $36,000 figure, that would be on a vehicle costing more than $150,000. I am sure someone in that price range would be happy to pay it versus the massive amount of Federal taxes we now pay.

I'll read it again, but from my original read, it looked like a plug for a Federal sales tax!

A Universal Basic Income is only needed because employers pay such low, shitty wages.
