Actually we said +/-44 million were uninsured in 2010 before O'care, and then the numbers dropped to 28 million by the time trump took office.

Based on the number Obama used in 2008 and the one you used in the OP today, very few.

If, as you indicated, 46 million don't have coverage now and that was what Obama said in 2008, it seems the black monkey couldn't produce.

Ain't the Affordable Care Act a wonderful thing? It was promised there would be no more health crisis in the United State if THE PEOPLE would but vote for a socialized health care act.

Bullshit. Now the results of this CON JOB is becoming obvious....but the finger is pointing at those who warned everyone of this boondoggle. LMAO

As always the left attempts to blame the right for THEIR FAILURES.

I'd wager the majority of these folk who don't have access to health care voted for Hillary and the Affordable Care Act....

Conclusion? It sucks to be a gullible LEECH?

How many health care plans have been rejected by the left in Congress since 2016? The answer lies in the question....how many "yes" votes has been cast by the left since the 2016 elections?

FYI: Its congress that enacts legislation not the Executive Office. Is it any wonder that congress has a less than 25% approval rating? What has congress accomplished in the area of health care knowing that the Affordable Care Act was and is a piece of shit legislation?

Single payer/private delivery is not socialized medicine. The big problem here is ignorance.

Agreed....ignorance is the problem. There was a time in the US when a person could pay about 10 to 15 bucks for an office visit to an MD. Today that cost ranges from 200 dollars to thousands of dollars depending upon how many drugs and needless tests that are suggested by the Dr. because "its no cost out of your pocket...….you have medicare or medicade or both...what the hell its comes out of the SS budget...or the taxpayers pocket.

The ignorance is due to the fact that people don't seem to comprehend that Government is the problem not the solution. It's like the promise to SPEND our way out of debt. The government caused the problem via having our legislators gain access to kick backs from lobbyists while over regulating the health care industry to hell and back making just a handful of Corporations in the health care industries of Insurance and Pharmacy super powerful via legislating them Monopolies ridding them of the competition required for common sense cost for health care. Government caused the problem now Its the SOLUTION? LMAO

THE AFFORDABLE CARE ACT DEMONSTRATED THAT THE SOULUTION LIES IN THE PRIVATE SECTOR NOT BIG SOCIALIST GOVERNMENT. If it worked why are you now bitching about the number of people without access to good healthcare? How many decades is it now since Big Brother made an oath to look out for your best interest by legislating more and more regulations?

I was a healthcare executive for over 20 years.. The private sector tried everything to solve the problem, but costs just kept escalating and the HMOs. PPOs and various insurance carriers made it worse.. Premiums kept increasing. Deductibles kept increasing and cost shifting was worse.

Fewer people were insured and employers were putting employees on less than 40 hours to avoid paying benefits.

The solution is medicare for all.. Single payer/private delivery. Close and sell off the VA facilities and let veterans go wherever they choose. VA is truly socialized medicine. The government owns the facilities and employs doctors and staff and it is the MOST expensive healthcare.

If you bring in SP, and reduce the money available for services - the system is going to starve providers and effectively ration care.

You hit a good point - "escalating costs" -and that's what needs to be attacked

Well, start by raising the cap on payroll taxes. Single payer will save 30% in administrative overhead. We can do it. I think we are as smart as the Europeans, Australians and Israelis.
