    You're not imagining it in geological time. Once there were humid forests- then there were ice sheets. That's climate change.

    No satellite can measure how much a gas is absorbing, nor can it measure the emissivity of any gas (or of any surface for that matter). This text also misuses Kirchoff's law, by ignoring the Earth itself as being a node of energy.

    But at least I see where you are getting your wrong information.

    'Climate scientists' deny science and mathematics.
    I'd love to know where you getting this info but doubt that you'll tell me.

    As I've said now- maybe twice, maybe three times- the earth's climate cannot be defined in terms of ' local weather '. If you concentrate on this fact then maybe you won't offer it back to me again as some woeful contradictory ...er....point.
    However, all facets of regional weather/local climate are manifestations of the earth's climate as a whole- an holistic , world-wide , summation of parts which form the global climate over time.
    That climate is changing- for the worst as far as our species is concerned- and you are being a fool in denying that.
    There is no such thing as a global climate, so it can't change.

    Okay. Let's look at this.

    Say a forest that exists now where there used to be an ice sheet. You say the climate has 'changed'. What has 'changed'? How do describe a 'change'? Yes, they are two different climates, but there is no 'change'. There is simply two different climates at different times in the same place.

    How do you describe a 'change'?

    The Stefan-Boltzmann law, which can be derived from Planck's law.

    This law states:

    radiance = SBconstant * emissivity * temperature ^ 4

    Radiance is in watts/sq meter. Temperature is in deg K. Emissivity is a measured constant from 0 to 100%. Do you see a frequency term in this equation? (hint: There isn't any!)

    This equation holds true regardless of the composition of the radiating body. No substance behaves differently, not even 'greenhouse' gases.

    So...you don't know, eh?
    You're an idiot. You prats that ignore realities and substitute cut-and-paste hobby-horse science are cheerleaders for climate terrorism.

    Anybody attempting to deny the realities of global climate is a dangerous half-wit.

    I studied thermodynamics at university as part of my chemistry degree. I fail to see what the Stephan-Boltzmann Law E = ε’σT4 has to do with satellites detecting microwave emissions from atmospheric oxygen. As for the global temperature, it is most commonly stated as being around 288K or 15C.

    You two blockheads deserve to be taken down. Let's make a start;

    Define Paleoclimatology.
