So there's no economic or fiscal reason for tax cuts, you just support them because you have a fundamental belief system that doesn't allow for you to admit you were wrong.

So if you're not going to claim that cutting taxes increases economic activity and revenues, then the only argument you can make is a weak emotional one of hysterics.

If "keeping more of what you earned" made sense, then revenues would have increased in 2018, but they didn't.

So that means either that people didn't actually get to keep more of what they earned (because you raised their liability), or that those who kept what they earned didn't spend it in the economy like you insist they would.

There's no way out of this corner your beliefs have painted you into without admitting your beliefs were wrong and the judgment that led you to those beliefs was wrong.
