Trump would have to climb a tall ladder to shine Mueller’s shoes’: Ex-CIA chief

John Brennan had some choice words today for those who doubt America’s intelligence professionals. Appearing on MSNBC’s ‘Deadline: White House’ Tuesday, the former CIA Director vociferously defended the work of behind-the-scenes government workers tasked with getting to the truth regarding the ongoing Russia probe to host Nicolle Wallace.

“I think we’ve seen that Donald Trump will do whatever, not only to delegitimize these institutions [such as the CIA], but also try to emasculate them,” said Brennan.

“I find it mind-numbing, we’re actually comparing the numbers of Donald Trump with somebody like Bob Mueller,” he continued. “Bob Mueller….whose integrity, ethics, principles, and honesty, far, far surpass Donald Trump’s. Donald Trump would have to climb a very, very tall ladder to shine the bottom of Bob Mueller’s shoes,” Brennan emphatically added.

The former chief counterterrorism advisor to Barack Obama, now watching events unfold from the sidelines, offered advice to those still working on the intelligence front lines.

“They need to stick with their professional responsibilities. By doing that and saying it publicly in front of the congressional committees, that’s when every man and woman in CIA, NSA, are going to say, ‘yes, we’re doing the job we’re supposed to be doing, our leadership within the intelligence community is performing its responsibilities irrespective of the malfeasance of Donald Trump.’”

    ROFL..The known liar chimes in.

I think we’ve seen that Donald Trump will do whatever, not only to delegitimize these institutions [such as the CIA], but also try to emasculate them,” said Brennan.
maybe you should have thought of that before you started this nonsense about Russian collusion you hyped out of your Langley group.

what an insufferable prick, Russiaphobe, liar, and abuser of the IC leadership Brennan is/was

Both before and after the FBI’s official probe began in late July 2016, Brennan was bringing together into the same room at CIA headquarters a cast of Trump haters across the Obama administration whose activities he could direct — from Peter Strzok, the FBI liaison to Brennan, to the doltish Jim Clapper, Brennan’s errand boy, to an assortment of Brennan’s buddies at the Treasury Department, Justice Department, and White House.

The members of Brennan’s working group at Langley “were just a bunch of out-of-control idiots,” says a former high-ranking CIA official to TAS. He finds it flabbergasting that Brennan would bring CIA officials and FBI officials into the same room to cook up schemes to send a spy into the Trump campaign’s ranks. One of those schemes involved money (Halper paid George Papadopoulos $3,000 for a phony research paper as a way of luring him into a London meeting); another involved sex (Halper’s assistant, with a name out of a bad spy novel, Azra Turk, tried to coax information from Papadopoulos at flirty bar outings, according to the Daily Caller’s Chuck Ross).

Let me guess. The first 9 years of the KILL LIST, initiated under BUSH was okay, 2009 on it wasn't?

Raise your hands folks if you think the above poster thought Brennan/the CIA/the Congressional 'gang of 8' were 'blood thirs_y pricks' when Bush started the 'policy' in 2001.

SERIOUSLY. I've watched him move from extreme caution in word and summary from early last year. He still does it with class, precision and 'good words' but MAN OH MAN he has been taking shots at Trump and his 'gang' regularly. He is absolutely picking up the ferocity and contempt.

Tell me this man DOESN'T KNOW SHIT! Even AFTER Trump stripped (did he succeed?) in pulling his clearance??
