I'd feel like my rights were being infringed because of the actions of a small minority of wicked and or irresponsible gun owners. I'd feel concerned about the government becoming extremely repressive. I'd feel like criminals would be emboldened, knowing that most citizens couldn't effectively defend themselves. I'd feel that crime rates, especially violent crime rates, would increase.
