You two think a temporary stay pending appeal means ultimate victory?

Yes. Roberts essentially is just taking the position that they already decided this issue once and while he was on the other side the existing ruling must be honored.

When will DEMOCRATS either admit that Darth Bader is dead or produce proof that she's alive?

And it's why the left is desperate to pretend she's still breathing, isn't it?

Don't know but stare decisis is kind of the SCOTUS' bread and butter.

    Indeed.

If you want clear proof that leftists think an activist liberal judiciary exists and is desirable, this thread is it.

I think the proof that she is alive would spark conversations that she has to retire. I believe she is alive, but is in failing health.

Even at her age, she should be back to work after a lobectomy.

The fact that she is still out of sight is proof that they lied initially on December 21st when they tried to make it sound like she "just had two nodes removed". While that is technically accurate, it is not the truth. For the uninformed public (most of JPP libs) saying she just had two nodes removed makes it sound like she had two moles removed.

She had major surgery to have a portion if not all of her lung removed. She would have been in ICU. She would have had chest tubes inserted into her chest cavity.

I said this at the time and I was proven correct.

Additionally, there are only two possibilities with regards to this cancer

    1) It is either a primary cancer meaning it started in her lungs

    or

    2) It is a recurrence of her cancer

Given that to my knowledge she does not smoke AND she has had a recent history of colon and pancreatic cancer it only stands to reason that what she is experiencing is a reoccurrence of her previous cancers. The lung is a very popular organ for cancers to metastisize too. I would also suspect it metastisizing to her brain as well.

Now given that we are dealing with likely metastatic disease, any oncologist worth their salt would not end treatment at the lobectomy. Sure they probably got all of the tissue and removed the nodes and I am confident that they removed the visible signs of cancer.

BUT and this is a BIG BUT. There are micromestastices that can't be seen by the naked eye at the cellular level and you have to assume that they are there. Given that, it would be malpractice to not treat her with chemotherapy or radiation. That is standard of care.

If it is true when they said "she requires no more treatment", then the only other logical conclusion is that her cancer is so advanced that further treatment is futile and she is being treated palliatively meaning the are just making her comfortable until the very end.

I don't believe she is dead. I just believe that she is extremely sick and they are going to wait until she actually dies. They do not need or want a Supreme Court fight right now.

I have seen no evidence that she is alive, and neither has anyone else, AFAIK.
