Nic Lewis has exposed a serious problem with peer review in climate science. He uncovered a series of serious mistakes in the Resplandy paper submitted to Nature but sadly that is a rarity. There are just not enough people who can review effectively so they tend to give papers a cursory glance and sign it off.

This guy is the unicorn the liberals always talk about. They say if you could disprove CAGW you would be hailed as a hero. The truth is they will attack and defame if you disprove their theory. It's pseudo-science. It's science-like, but it's really confirmation bias on steroids. You can't disprove it even with the facts. It's become like religion.
