Default A quote that should resonate with current American politics.

"There is no such thing as "truth" or "lies" in this world; there never has been. There are only plain, hard facts. And yet, all beings who exist in this world acknowledge only those "facts" that are convenient to them, and take them to be the "truth". They do so because they know no other way of living. However, for those powerless beings who comprise the majority of this world's population, inconvenient facts that affirm their very existence, are their only truth."

Anyone know where this is from?

No, it's not his quote, but this is similar. It's probably not something the older posters would know.

It's not a quote most younger people would know. This is a post that only basement dwelling anime fans would know.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sōsuke_Aizen

Sōsuke Aizen (藍染 惣右介 Aizen Sōsuke) is a fictional character and the main antagonist for most of the first half of the manga series Bleach (and the most significant one for the entirety of the anime adaptation) created by Tite Kubo. He is the captain of the Fifth Division when he is first introduced, but later betrays the Soul Society and becomes the series' main antagonist, before Ichigo Kurosaki and Kisuke Urahara defeat him. His former lieutenant is Momo Hinamori.
