Yeah, I'm a little triggered this time. I think I'm entitled to it after 18 years in the Coast Guard, after 18 years of keeping pot, coke, heroin and other shit(including the illegals that tried to bring it in)off the streets of America. After coming home with 1/4 of my team sick with TB from spending 30 days with a boatload of chinese illegals(multiple times), being hauled out of a deep, hard earned sleep to pull 21 haitian illegals off a 25ft boat, 3 years in war zones deployed with the navy, and more search and rescue cases than I can remember, and my favorite: Pulling dead bodies off of mountainsides and out of the ocean after plane crashes(those people are a pain in the ass sometimes, they like to visit you in the middle of the night). I've been through a few govt shutdowns, too. Kind of a vacation actually when you only have enough money to put gas in the boat for emergent SAR. No training, no routine law enforcement patrols, just wait for someone to get a hole in their boat and take on water. But I never had to worry about meeting my personal financial obligations. We never deserved that, and neither does anyone else in the DHS.
