Why was the government shut down? It was not really......only those who are not needed were furloughed without pay. At the Presidents discretion, those 300K jobs could be gone forever if the government remains shut down for an extended period. Now ask the stupid question again. Why is Trump not blinking? For an IMPEACHMENT....there has to be a CONVICTION or its not an impeachment (removal). Again....writing a ticket is not a conviction, its nothing but an informal subpoena for you to show up in court under the condition that you will be found guilty as CHARGED if you do not exercise your rights under the Bill of Rights.


In this Free Republic....it takes more than an accusation to convict anyone. Congress can accuse all they want....but in the end, there is no way in hell there will be 2/3 majority vote in the Senate to even consider a formal impeachment trial. Congress has no police power. Read your damn constitution. That's why all these congressional hearings are nothing but a political dog and phony show.
