Social media is what broke the thing, dingus. It's why the school made a stated apology. No matter what else happened, people need to stop being apologists for the kid. He did what he did. Even when dealing with people being assholes, when you react by slandering race, or gender, you're suddenly the one that has issues. Essentially you're not going after him, you're going after everyone of that race. If you can't handle a person being an asshole, without saying racist, or sexist things, you don't deserve any sympathy for the person being an asshole.
