It's immoral to waste taxpayer money on an ineffective wall. After all, every dollar pissed away on what amounts to symbolic gesture for the bigots is a dollar that isn't available for more deserving priorities. But, it doesn't follow that, therefore, it would be a good idea to spend still more dollars tearing down ineffective walls. Again, there are more deserving priorities.
