Default Gabbard wanders off the reservation: rejects shutdown talking points

Hawaii congresswoman and Democratic candidate for president Tulsi Gabbard said Sunday that her party’s leadership was not blameless for the partial government shutdown that is now approaching a month, accusing both sides of posturing and refusing to compromise.

“The problem here is that this issue, like so many others in Washington, are being relegated to partisan politics,” she said in an interview on CNN’s “State of the Union."

Break out the long knives, Democrats—there’s a traitor in your midst lol.

This is why I like this woman even if I disagree with her progressive ideology: she’s not afraid to get out of the box. In this instance she plays Captain Obvious in laying partial blame for the shutdown on the democrats. One has to be a brain stem partisan hack to not recognize that.

But she has to know that even stating the obvious can cost her support in the primaries.

I'd have no problem voting for her if it wasn't against Trump.
She's like the only sane Democrat out there ( the blue dog moderates are gone) and only her and Rand Paul
are not looking for "Assad must go".

I’d have to learn more about her before I could say that lol.

But she’s not afraid to go up against the establishment—I like her for that much.

Heard the same sentiments from individuals from both parties, however it is the right who is allowing outside entities to dictate their position. Trump won't accept anything if it is not approved by the right wing media demogogues, so how can one deal to reach a compromise?

"Both Democrats and Republicans have “completely hardened their positions and are unwilling to come together and work out the differences,” she said, pointing out it’s not an isolated problem.
She said the problem is “an unwillingness to just say, 'Hey, here's my position. Here's yours. Let's figure out how we can work out the differences that we can, putting forward the best solution for the American people.'” "

The ‘entity’ on the left is something resembling the Borg lol.

And Gabbard is clearly on the outside of it in blaming democrats for the shutdown [it’s a 50/50 thing—which is basically what she’s saying]. She is arguably the most serious-minded democrat candidate thus far but she won’t stand a chance with the TDS caucus.

Is she for Open Borders, Abolishing Ice and creating Sanctuary cities like the rest of the democrats?

That's odd coming from you. Who would you vote for if it was Gabbard vs. Paul?

Rand Paul has been my favorite Republican candidate for prez. He's the only true Republican/Conservative who preaches less government, less taxes, less spending.
I'd also take John Kasich or Mitt Romney over any other republican candidate (including Trump).

Trump is a fucking moron and is a danger to the country. How can those who support him not see that?
Well, I guess it's true that you have to be a fucking moron to vote for a fucking moron.

Judge Juan M. Merchan wrote that Trump “appears to take the position that his situation and this case are unique and that the pre-trial publicity will never subside. However, this view does not align with reality.”

my number one foreign policy concern is interventionism in foreign wars.
Not only is it counterproductive like Libya/Iraq I saw somewhere we have spent either 4-6 TRILLION on foreign wars since 9-11
Which is why I want out of Syria as well -no good can come of it,and we are too small to effect any outcomes

Well, I can agree with that. So who is the biggest offender of spending on foreign wars since 9-11?

    I'll give you a hint:

Iraq spending was off the charts.
I'm not a Republican, and I despise Shrub and all the fucking neocons around him.
But they are not just Republicans - Hillary was a neocon -the driving force for bombing Libya.
And now asshats like Max Boot are getting play by the Dems - then of course Mccain and Rubio for the Pubs
