    Default Buzzfeed/Mueller disagreement

here is what I think is going down

buzzfeed said it was people tied to Mueller who tipped them

    That pissed Mueller off

he saw some flaw ( we don't know how big the flaw was) in the piece and used that to discredit the idea to protect the FBI from the leaking claim

he made this comment not just for this reason

He also needed to discredit some of the hard evidence the piece referenced

    NOT MENTIONING the EXACT bit

they wanted to stop speculation of what they have because they are not done

they don't want the people they are still interviewing to speculate about what Mueller has on them BEFORE hes done with them

Mueller NEVER remarks on shit huh

he did this time for multiple reasons

it screwed with what hes not finished with yet

that is why he kept it so broad

    inaccurate.

    NOT

    dead wrong

    get it folks

what were the details of the buzzfeed article that were unaccurate?

    You don't know huh.

its cant be the whole thing

Mueller in filings for courts has presented evidence that Cohen said trump told him to lie.

is there evidence to back that claim of Cohen's?

it was obviously some evidence to back Cohens claim

    more than just cohens claims

otherwise it would not likely be a claim Mueller would file to the court

    Mueller was saying

ITS NOT MY PEOPLE WHO LEAKED

he is also saying if you look at the the things the article claims its inaccurate

one tiny bit can make the entire findings of the journalist wrong in TOTAL

    Your cake baking is inaccurate

You did everything correct to bake the cake

You merely placed it in a pan that was too small

that makes your cake baking inaccurate baking

this is another reason Mueller said something about this inaccuracy of something in the Buzzfed article.

he is proving his cred to the facts.

and of course trump the idiot took the bait

He is praising the very people he trashes all the time

and hes using it to pretend this proves him innocent

    Its calms Trump down

he feels less trapped while Mueller finishes up

I see it a little differently

Obviously, Mueller brought Cohen back, charged him with lying to Congress and didn't add one minute of time on his sentence for a reason. Even Congress didn't care.

Mueller was setting the stage for a similar charge or one of subornation. Who was suborning Cohen's perjury is the question. Buzzfeed says Trump.

I think the "inaccuracy" lies here. The article said emails, texts, and a cache of other documents. We know that Trump doesn't email or text. So, while Trump may be guilty of subornation, the actual statement may be inaccurate, but not false.

I think the statement was issued because Mueller does not want an outside source to get ahead of him and the pace of his investigation. That makes things more difficult for him. I also doubt the sources were part of his team, but perhaps investigators peripherally involved in gathering information.

We'll see the final report in due time. It won't be pretty for Trump and he knows it. Did Trump suborn perjury? We'll see. But, unless Cohen lied to Congress on his own volition, SOMEBODY suborned perjury. I doubt Cohen lied on his own.

The question is, then, who instructed him to lie? Junior? Jared? One of Trump's staff? The scenario that makes the best sense is that Trump ordered someone to then order Cohen to lie. The subornation then goes back to that cocksucker, but more difficult to trace.

this is clearly not an out right denial of the VAST majority of the article
    The vast majority is solid.

There is a difference between 'false' and 'inaccurate', especially in governmentese "non-denial denials"

In this case, if Trump told a subordinate to tell Cohen to lie and Buzzfeed said Trump suborned perjury, that would be inaccurate, but not false.

    LOL
What kind of work do you do? Must not be anything that requires precision. Inaccurate is a word for "not accurate". Can you cite a definition that doesn't contradict your "not false" assertion?

I don't think he would tell an untruth

I think its very carefully worded

to accomidate some small detail that was inaccurate

giving him a change to calm the nation down from starting Impeachment

for some reason he thinks the congress needs the rest of his story first

Let’s see Donald Trump Jr told the truth yet leftists believe Trump told Cohen to lie

    Yup that sounds about right

Or maybe Cohen lied on his own?

We have a guy who has cheated on his taxes and defrauded his boss. Yeah he is a trustworthy guy.

I almost feel bad for JPP leftists who so badly wanted this to be true

Even though it has been thoroughly debunked they are desperately clinging to it

    Bless their hearts
