Even before Brexit, the British had everything where they wanted it, as they were never required to accept the euro dollar in their country.

So, there were no reasons to back out of the Union.

And not only did they hurt their own Pound by going it alone, they still have to compete their pound against the EURO- with or without the EU. They should have realized that before backing out of the EU.

They will wise up and rejoin the EU before this is all over and Brexit will be history.

I shouldn't have to reiterate my comment- but I understand you need special assistance when it comes to understanding what people say around here.

When the UK was asked to join the EU, most Englanders did not want to be forced to have to use a new currency. So the EU made exceptions and worked it out so that members did not have to use EURO's.

But, my comment had to do with the fact, that even though the UK kept their British Pound, it would still always have to compete with the Euro- regardless as to whether they wanted to be a member of the EU or not.

What most people in the UK were shocked about in the hours just after they dropped out of the Union, was the fact that the EURO gained heavily over the British Pound rather significantly and quickly. And this is why so many of the people that voted for the going-it-alone- quickly regretted their vote and have since retracted.

And all I said was, they should have realized this would happen before they voted to drop out of the Union!

So go butt a stump!
