I don't disagree with him as far as a sell off. Not sure how bad it will be or when. Probably going to get boinkers due to politics in a few months. I am not that worried about it as far as my 401K. I am not parking it in money markets like my better half who is very allergic to risk. I spread my exposure so I should be fine either way. That strategy pretty much guarantees there will be losses along the way. If my brokerage gets clobbered, so be it.

Between the constant Toadstool uncertainty and drama, and the Brexit stuff, markets are probably going to be pretty twitchy for a while. You're very wise to diversify like you do.

It is either that or day trading and daytrading causes me to want to stroke out, so I spread it around and hope. I have been fairly fortunate in terms of just timing thus far as my discretionary income seems to be coming in at the right times in life for investment. In ten years who knows.

Most serious investors like Mr. Owl really frown on day trading. Good way to lose it all; it's more like gambling than investing. Yer a smart man! I'd love to get Oneuli's take on the markets right now; that's what she does for a living.

Day trading is a bit of an art and I'm no artist I didn't lose money at it, but I aged ten years in one year of doing it. I know a couple people who still do it sporadically successfully. One of them borders on inside trading as he mostly does stocks of regional interest and gets lots of info chatted loose on golf courses.

Jeez you are incredibly stupid. Brexiteer has in fact buoyed up the FTSE 100, because many international companies make their money abroad. The weaker pound has resulted in higher earnings but that's well above your paygrade and understanding.
