    Default Guess the stock market is no longer of interest to JPP leftists?

    It is still off of its highs, but looks to have stabilized as I predicted. We are consolidating support at 2600 like I predicted.

    No more sky is falling threads from leftists?

    It's a subject they post about when it goes down, I suppose, and then only when a Republican is in the White House.

    I am a progressive who told you folks many many weeks ago the bottom was in the 22.5 range and if it went below that, the wheels would start to fly off. Politics have nothing to do with money, dear hearts.

    It's Old News - Mueller files status report highlighting cooperation by key witness

    Former Trump campaign aide Richard Gates is still cooperating with federal prosecutors on “several ongoing investigations,” according to a status report filed by special counsel Robert Mueller and Gates’ defense attorneys on Tuesday.

    The parties are asking a federal judge to again delay Gates’ sentencing, nearly a year after he pleaded guilty in connection with Mueller’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election.

    “To date, the status of this matter has not changed substantially since the November report, as defendant Gates continues to cooperate with respect to several ongoing investigations, and accordingly the parties do not believe it is appropriate to commence the sentencing process at this time,” the status report filed Tuesday reads.

    The move signals that prosecutors are continuing to question Gates on various matters and are not ready for him to be sentenced.

    Trump Crime Family Moves to Get Racketeering Lawsuit Dismissed

    Before conman Donald Trump sold America on him becoming president, he was conning working-class people who invested hundreds of thousands of dollars with him, and lost all their money. And his three oldest children were helping him do it. At least that is what a lawsuit filed last fall charged.

    Yesterday lawyers for Donald Trump, Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump, Eric Trump and the Trump Organization filed a motion to dismiss the class action lawsuit in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
    <snip>

    The lawsuit claimed that the Trump family’s “racketeering enterprise” preyed upon thousands of vulnerable people to get them to invest in “get-rich-quick schemes.” The plaintiffs were identified only as Jane Doe, Luke Loe, Richard Roe, and Mary Moe.
    <snip>

    When these things happen all Americans need to know the character of Donald Trump. We need to keep in mind the kind of criminal personality we are dealing with. There is no reason to feel any sympathy for him. What needs to happen is that Donald Trump and his children all need to finally be held accountable and suffer the consequences for all of their misdeeds. - PoliticusUSA

    2635 on th S&P will be a telling area. The 50% DMA and 50% retracement lies there. If there is short covering it could take off. We will see

    McConnell blocks House bill to reopen government for second time

    https://thehill.com/homenews/senate/...or-second-time

    Senate Republicans blocked a House-passed package to reopen the federal government for a second time in as many weeks on Tuesday.

    Democratic Sens. Chris Van Hollen (Md.) and Ben Cardin (Md.) asked for consent take up a package of bills that would reopen the federal government.

    One bill would fund the Department of Homeland Security through Feb. 8, while the other would fund the rest of the impacted departments and agencies through Sept. 30, the end of the fiscal year.

    Under Senate rules, any one senator can ask for consent to vote on or pass a bill, but any one senator can object. McConnell blocked the two bills, saying the Senate wouldn't "participate in something that doesn't lead to an outcome."

    Always a concern to me when it’s lower than a year ago.

    The market is down from where it was just one year ago, when the Russia Tax Cuts started.

    So the Russia Tax Cuts caused the market to be down.

    That's your policy, in action, disappointing and not delivering on the promises you made of it.
