As I said, there are those who may carry a weapon that may be qualified to help in a crime scene using their weapon- and there are also citizens who carry weapons who would only get in the way, risk getting themselves killed- and more importantly risking getting other innocent victims killed as well.

Police put their officers through Police training, including training on how to handle hostage situations, suicide attempts, etc, but there is no required police training in order for any dumb ass idiot want-to-be-Dirty Harry's who wants one- to be able to acquire a gun in the United States.

Well the handgun that was used in the Azana Spa shooting was purchased in a private transaction. So if this loop hole was closed, maybe this shooting wouldn't have happened.

Yet, the last few mass shootings, the guns were obtained legally. The mass shootings in France were fully automatic rifles and hand grenades. I am pretty sure France has laws against owning those. How would more laws have prevented them?
