Fund the "Wall"
Shutdown the government
rjhenn (01-11-2019)
I was under the impression that when the president says something, they should be held responsible. Trump is being treated with kid gloves. Words have consequences, that's something he never learned as a spoiled rich boy.
Yes, I do think Pelosi and Schumer are partly to blame, but Trump is more to blame for failing to make a deal, which is his job as president.
Then he should stop throwing tantrums and make a deal. You have a President trying to do his Constitutional duty and two partisan hacks that think they can score political points while Americans and Government agents are at risk.
Because they don't think it's worth it.Answer me this; why is a paltry $5 billion too much for Pelosi and Schumer to fund? Try to be honest.
Yes, Schumer is in favor of border control. He just doesn't want to build a five billion dollar wall. Most Democrats feel the same way.History:

When Donald Trump said he would shutdown the government and take the blame for it- Look at Mike Pence's expression?
That's the best "WTF" look I've ever seen! Blahahahahaha!
He is taking responsibly. And citizens with a brain know that Pelosi and Schumer are equally to blame. You think they are not? How so?
This is a moronic statement. No President in the history of the republic has been treated with the disdain, criticism, fact checking and insults this man has been subjected to.
Through it all, he is still getting things done that are creating a huge economic boom, giving people back more of what they earn and trying to protect American interests throughout the globe and on our Southern border.
He is being subjected to an independent investigation; but not for any crime, but rather, for winning an election the media and liberal left in this country believed was Hillarys.
You sound like a fool when you make such stupid statements.
Yet, you think the Democrats should not suffer any consequences. How partisan are you?
They are wholly to blame and here is why; it is a Presidents job to defend and protect our borders. It is Congress job to fund the Presidents objectives. This isn't even debatable. Particularly when the funds in question amount to a paltry .016% of the Federal Budget.
This is another ignorant statement. Tell me, how does one do a deal with a party that is unwilling to even compromise? Apparently you have no knowledge of how negotiations work.
He's not the one throwing th tantrum; that would be the man-child Schumer and the Plastic faced Pelosi. How do you make a deal with someone who doesn't want a deal? Why should a deal even be required? Isn't it the Presidents job to dictate policy and defend the borders? When did it become Schumer or Pelosi's job?
That isn't their call. Border protection and policy is the Presidents. Their job is funding the Government. Again, why is a paltry .016% untenable. Try to be honest. I know at some point you will arrive at the truth.
It isn't a five billion dollar wall. That is just to get it started. It is about $29 billion. That amounts to less than 1% of the Federal Budget. Why is border security so unimportant that less than 1% is untenable for Democrats?
Try to be honest. I know at some point you will arrive at the truth.
