Trump owns the Republican platform, and he rightfully snatched it from establishment Repubs/ Rhinos. Nikki may have something to offer, but she will have to recover from her status as a Never Trumper. If Romney endorses her, she is done for.

There is also the Plato cycle of government that looks kinda like an ecology cycle. I could vote for the leftyest commiest candidate, which would move us closer to the inevitable Socialism and oppression that has to occur before we get back to freedom.
