She's not your president, is she, grandpa?

Don't the pollsters whose opinions you selectively cite know about the Electoral College?

This is uninformed. The polls were in each state where an election was held, including the ones where Trump gained the electoral votes, and those were wrong. Simply saying that because in California so many people voted for Hillary it means the polls were right just shows a fundamental misunderstanding of the other 49 elections that were held that day and how polls are conducted.

You are making it more complicated than need be. The polls that projected her the winner were correct when you look at the votes. The polls that show Americans oppose the wall also poll people. The EC is completely irrelevant in this case. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/cbs-new...ding-the-wall/

No. I am introducing you to reality. The polls that are notably incorrect are the ones that were in the elections where Trump gained the electoral votes for that state but the polls showed he would lose. Like Michigan, Pennsylvania, so forth.

When speaking about facts it is important to understand all of the facts, not just the ones that you want to see. The "popular vote" is a hypothetical. We do not have one election, we have 51 (50 states and the District of Columbia) where each awards electoral college votes. In this case many electoral college votes went to Trump that were listed to go to Hillary. The polls were wrong.

The fact that you're trying to obfuscate is Americans don't want the wall

Trump is missing the point. Over 90 percent of drugs and illegals come in through ports of entry. He should shut them down. Nobody comes in or out until they are inspected inch by inch. If he is really concerned about illegals and drugs, anything less is theater. Trump is all show and lies.

If Trump can shut down the govt for weeks or months until he gets his wall as he threatens then clearly there is no emergency at the border.

    Utter bullshit.

You answered my question about where the Constitution grants additional powers to the president if he declares an emergency?
