Donald Trump’s childish shutdown over border wall funding appears to have backfired miserably, according to a new Reuters/Ipsos poll.

The survey found that just 25 percent of the country believes it was a good idea to shut down the federal government over the president’s fantasy to build a barrier on the southern border.

Overall, a combined total of 54 percent of the country blames Trump (47 percent) and congressional Republicans (7 percent) for the shutdown. Just 33 percent think Democratic lawmakers are responsible.

To make matters worse for the president, only 35 percent of those surveyed believe that taxpayer dollars should be included in the budget to fund his border wall.

25% is incredibly low.

There might be even a portion of Trump's boot-lickers who remember that he campaigned on a promise that Mexico would pay for the wall,
and it may strike them as weird, weak, and inconsistent that Fat Ass is asking Americans to pay for it.
It basically seems like Dump was lying his ass off, as per usual.
