Default The Art Of Charging More For Less

Everyone knows where big time parasites live. They can be found in the Democrat Party, illegal immigration, the Department of Education, the healthcare industry, television, Hollywood, and of course the environmental movement.

Amazon takes a sales commission on the goods it sells for its clients. Few Americans associate Amazon with parasite strongholds. After all, Amazon is private sector company advertising and delivering retail goods purchased on its website. Think again if you believe that Amazon is not a parasite company. Amazon is a big time parasite eating at the public trough with the fattest parasites:

The president has repeatedly attacked Amazon on Twitter for treating the Postal Service as its "delivery boy" by paying less than it should for deliveries and contributing to the service's $65 billion loss since the global financial crisis of 2007 to 2009, without presenting evidence.

The rates the Postal Service charges Amazon and other bulk customers are not made public.

"None of our findings or recommendations relate to any one company," a senior administration official said on Tuesday.

President Trump nibbling at the Parasite Class’s outer boundary is a start —— if he succeeds in taking a big bite. Media parasites will stop him with the same technique they always use. Here are three well-known examples:

    1. Make Trump’s WALL the issue instead of talking about the laws that must be repealed.

    2. Make pre-existing conditions the issue instead of talking about socialized medicine’s evils.

    3. Make a woman’s heath the issue instead of talking about Planned Parenthood’s abortion and baby body parts businesses.

Parasites in the education industry, and alternative energy companies get theirs in direct subsidies. Amazon et al., get theirs indirectly from the USPS.

So how come every pizza parlor, every lawn service, and every small business is not entitled to a tax dollar subsidy? If giving money to billionaire parasite corporations is good for the economy, and the country, both should improve when every small business gets a subsidy.

SERIOUS QUESTION: Does anyone know if businesses that were outsourced get a subsidy from taxpayers?

The USPS accused of incompetence usually ends there. Mention a global warming fraud and Democrats go bonkers shilling for environmental parasites. I usually apply the care and feeding of parasites to television’s advertising tax deduction, while global warming fraud is legal larceny without a benefit:

The problem always comes done to the income tax. Tax dollars is the stuff that goes to the wealthy parasites in alternative energy subsidies, to Wall Street, to the education industry and so on. Designer-science is the fluff environmental hustlers wear like a badge of honor.

Bottom line: An abundance of fossil fuels makes them inexpensive, while all of the so-called alternative energy sources are very expensive for the small amount they produce. Alternative energy companies are the most successful practitioners of Wall Street’s recommended business model: Charge more for less.

Alternative energy companies traded on Wall Street already raked in hundreds of billions of tax dollars with trillions expected over the long term.

Incidentally, more than a dozen technologies exist for producing alternative energy. Wind power and solar power are the energy sources parasites dearly love. Taxpayers already forked over tens of billions of dollars for over thirty Solyndra-type failures.

Both wind and solar are economic catastrophes. Wind power is also an environmental train wreck for birds. Nuclear power is the alternative energy source the parasites hate the most.

If wind farms and solar panels are such good investments they would have eliminated fossil fuels a long time ago, nor would they require taxpayer subsidies. The hustlers hope to make more money à la investments in the next round of SUBSIDIZED failed alternative energy companies.

Alternative energy sources are a tax dollar scam from top to bottom. The sharpshooters in the financial community jump in for a bite after tax dollars begin flowing to alternative energy companies. Simply put: Wall Street brokers cannot manipulate stock prices on non-existent companies.

Wind power, solar power, and all of the rest of the so-called alternative energy sources support parasites on manmade climate change scare tactics. Petroleum and coal gave hustlers, parasites, and environmental freaks a body of designer-science to sell as scientific truth.

Forcing Americans to pay higher retail prices for wind energy, for solar energy, etc. was designed to prop up the stock market in perpetuity. Look at it this way. The government passes a law ordering every adult American to purchase food at supermarket chains, and retail items at department store chains because they are traded on Wall Street. Anybody that buys an item from a mom & pop store would be breaking the law. Once they break the law they would be subjected to fines, imprisonment, and confiscation of their property, not to mention the legal fees it would take to fight the case in rigged courts.

The government ordering Americans what to buy, where to buy, and how much they have to pay for the items they buy is no different than the government ordering Americans where to purchase electricity.

Environmental industry stocks traded on Wall Street are called too big to fail; hence, bailouts will be used to prop up corrupt, inefficient companies while the standard of living for low and medium income Americans falls to Third World levels because retail prices rise out of reach.

If you really want to see who controls Congress see how far you get by insisting that tax dollars NOT go to any entity traded on Wall Street either directly or indirectly. If nothing else, company stocks traded in every market should be permanently barred from receiving tax dollars. Every one of them would still be free to operate as a 100 percent private sector business traded on a stock exchange if they so choose. Logically, alternative energy companies would have to separate their energy revenues from the rest of their revenues, that is assuming they do not separate their revenues the same way Planned Parenthood separates their baby body parts business from the rest of their revenues.

Put it this way: If companies building gas chambers and furnaces for the same purposes they were built in Nazi Germany were traded on Wall Street no law would stop them if it adversely affected absentee ownership. Federal bureaucracies in cahoots with federal and state courts have all but abolished real property Rights. At the same time property Rights are being wiped out the courts have strengthened the Rights of absentee owners.

Finally, expanding the size of government stated in plain English means increasing the number of parasites feeding on tax dollars. Not one Democrat will lift a finger to prevent this death blow aimed at the American people:

More than 40 Democratic lawmakers support the “Green New Deal” as part of a broad plan to fight global warming and bring about what they see as “economic, social and racial justice.” A poll found most Americans supported the deal, but knew little about it.

What in hell is . . . “economic, social and racial justice.”?

p.s. Most Americans want nothing to do with environmental garbage, or open-borders, but you would never know it if you believe what media mouths are saying. Environmental polls are as reliable as the polls that predicted candidate Trump would lose to Hillary Clinton.

The post office operates in the black. It is in the red because of a Congressional mandate in 2006 that they must prefund 75 years of retiree healthcare benefits instead of paying as they go. In other words, they are required to pay for future healthcare today for retirees that have not even been born yet. In 2006, the GOP controlled both chambers of Congress and the White House.

Alternative energy sources are a tax dollar scam from top to bottom.
Forty or fifty years ago I saw my first solar powered toy. It did not need batteries. I have a few handheld calculators that are charged by the sun. No batteries required. Solar energy parasites found a new source of income:

Solar power and wind power are the dominant methods of generating electricity that are acceptable to the extreme left. The left calls its acceptable methods of generating electricity “renewable energy.” The definition of renewable energy, enshrined in renewable portfolio laws in many states, tells us what the left likes and doesn’t like. It is very arbitrary. The general idea of renewable energy is that it doesn’t use fuel that could run out and it doesn’t emit CO2. But the left breaks its own rules as is convenient.

For example, nuclear power doesn’t emit CO2 and running out of fuel is strictly theoretical. Nuclear is also reliable with steady delivery of electricity. The prospects for new technology in the nuclear universe are very bright. Yet, nuclear is arbitrarily banned in renewable portfolio laws. Incredibly, most renewable portfolio laws effectively ban hydroelectric power too, because the environmental left does not like dams.

Geothermal power, utilizing hot rocks underground as a source of energy, is accepted as renewable, even though the “fuel” can and does run out as the rocks cool under the pressure of removing the heat to make electricity. Geothermal only works if rare good sites are found.

Solar power and wind power are loved by the left, but have the serious problem of erratic delivery of power. Wind dominates solar except in places with poor wind and good sunshine, such as Nevada, where I live. In states where a lot of solar has been installed, such as California and Nevada, solar is running into a wall that is related to the time delivery of solar power versus when the electrical grid’s need for power.

Nevada has a renewable portfolio law that demands that by 2030 half the electricity come from renewable sources. The promoters of green power are even trying to put the renewable power quota into the Nevada Constitution. As a practical matter that quota requires greatly increasing solar electricity. Nevada does have fairly good geothermal resources, but those are expensive and slow to develop.

As more solar is added to the electrical grid a point is reached when midday generation is too high, particularly in the spring when sun is strong, but air conditioning load is not yet peaking. As a practical matter solar can’t go beyond 50% of the electricity generated at any time because it creates instability in the grid and complicates the transition to fossil fuel power as the solar quits for the night. This problem has been given the name the “duck curve” problem because the graph of the daily accessory fossil fuel power looks like the back of a duck.

The solar industry is facing the problem that at a certain point, in some places, it will be running into a wall and no more solar installations can be built. They have a solution. They want to add batteries to solar installations. The batteries will store excess power at midday and release the stored electricity in the early evening when the power is needed. The problem is that batteries to do this are very expensive. The cost of a solar installation with batteries would nearly double the cost and the batteries will probably wear out periodically. The promoters of solar have a solution for that -- have the federal government subsidize the cost of the batteries.

Solar installations are approximately 70% subsidized by the federal government and by state energy quotas that energize favorable financing. As a consequence solar power that really costs $70 to $80 per megawatt hour, can sell for as little as $25 to $30 per megawatt hour due to the subsidies. But if a nonsubsidized battery system is added to the installation, the energy cost is likely to balloon to $80 or $90 per megawatt hour. To prevent this high cost and in order to pass beyond the wall, the solar promoters have an intense lobbying campaign to add battery systems to the list of things receiving huge green subsidies. Even if they get the subsidy, the combined solar plus battery system will probably deliver power for about $50 per megawatt hour.

Solar is not competitive with natural gas unless it can be purchased for less than $20 per megawatt hour. That is because solar does not replace existing fossil fuel, much less nuclear, generating plants. All those plants must be retained intact when solar is added. This is for the very obvious reason that solar contributes nothing in the early evening when demand typically peaks. Solar also contributes nothing when it is cloudy. So the only economic benefit of solar is displacing consumption of natural gas when it is generating power that is accepted by the grid. Solar saves natural gas that may be worth as much as $25 per megawatt hour, but it lowers the duty cycle of natural gas plants and thus increases the capital cost per megawatt hour in the gas plants. It also stresses the gas plants that have to balance erratic solar generation. Solar is an extremely expensive device for reducing CO2 emissions, costing about $140 per metric ton of CO2 emissions avoided (a carbon offset). That is a very high price compared to many alternatives for a carbon offset.

The bottom line is that solar is not a good method of supplying electricity and it is not a good method for reducing CO2 emissions. It keeps going because the promoters constantly lie and spread propaganda. They often brag about cheap solar purchase contracts without mentioning the huge subsidies and the state mandates that force utilities to buy solar (and wind).

It is no surprise that Wall Street hustlers prefer Biden over Trump.

Wall Street and the biggest U.S. banks, after spending a fortune to unseat President Trump, are getting key spots in Democrat Joe Biden’s transition team that he has devised before the presidential election is certified.
