A couple of White House reporters shouted at press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders after she left an exceptionally short press briefing today.

“This was a ten-minute briefing, Sarah!” Exclaimed NBC White House reporter Kristen Welker, while Breakfast Media White House correspondent Andrew Feinberg shouted at the flack to “do your job!” — a comment he took credit for on Twitter.

Wow, reporters pissed, shout to Sarah Huckabee Sanders "This was a ten-minute briefing, Sarah!" "DO YOUR JOB!"

Sanders appeared on the stage for roughly 15 minutes, building on a trend of short pressers.

Her diminishing time in front of the White House podium even spawned the following festive headline from the Washington Post last month: “A turkey has spent more time on-camera in the briefing room this month than the press secretary.”

The press secretary recently defended the White House’s lack of briefings, telling Fox News Sunday, “I always think if you can hear directly from the president, and the press has a chance to ask the president of the United States questions directly, that’s infinitely better than talking to me.”

“We try to do that a lot, and you’ve seen us do that a lot over the past three weeks, and that’s going to take the place of a press briefing when you can talk to the president of the United States,” she added.

White House refuses to take back claim that Flynn was ambushed



Trump's top spokesperson on Tuesday offered well wishes for former national security adviser Michael Flynn and said she had no reason to take back her claim he was "ambushed" by the FBI.

"The delay is something between Gen. Flynn and the courts," White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said after a federal judge delayed his sentencing. "In the meantime, we wish Gen. Flynn well."

Flynn has pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about his contacts with Russians during and after the 2016 campaign, but Sanders said earlier Tuesday the FBI acted inappropriately in questioning him early last year.

“No. We still firmly believe” that he was ambushed, Sanders said when asked about her previous comments.
