    soak it in milk or buttermilk over night to help take that nasty taste down a few notches.

    Anyway you would cook beef will work.
    For burgers add 20% pork fat.

    I have 3 deer in my freezer in Indy, problem is I am in Ohio. I am not a cook, I am an eat, but my wife is a fantastic cook. I will post her recipes when she cooks it for me. We are going back next week.

    My favorite part, besides the tender loin, are the shanks. With vendison shanks I would recommend making Osso Buco.

    I would serve some kicked up garlic mashed potatoes and fresh green peas (or frozen).
