Zinke is baling out with a dozen investigations on his tail. Just normal with this administration.

The swamp will stink far less when President Trump is gone.

Then maybe some of our government agencies can get back to what they are supposed to be doing: helping we the people instead of they the corporations.

I disagree with both of your sentences. Not that I wish they weren't true, but no, nothing will change.

Do you deny that big rich corporations purchase favorable government policy by figuring out who in government to grease?

Do you deny that there is government corruption in the US government?

Do you deny that the Education Secretary wants to replace public education with a for-profit model?

Do you deny that the EPA director has reduced environmental regulations?

Do you deny that the head of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has greatly slashed the amount of money returned to consumers from fraudulent financial institutions?

Do you deny that the CFPB has reduced financial regulations, resulting in more profitability for them, as consumers are not as protected by those regulations?

These things have all been great for Wall Street and terrible for Main Street.

What aspect of government do YOU consider 'the swamp,' if not the corruption of big money meant to make the rich richer at the expense of everyone else?

Corruption has not been reduced. It has been accelerated with Trump. But after Jan3 the Dem house will root out a lot of corruption and Mueller will do the same.

Trump operates with a business management mentality. Nobody should be surprised by that.

To further clarify, President Trump operates with a ruthless greedy business management mentality; typically associated with those who have a win/lose philosophy instead of a win/win philosophy. That means he sees no benefit to ensuring that his transactions are good for both sides. He doesn't believe a strong economy results from fair business dealings. He thinks it is perfectly acceptable to destroy other business interests as he strengthens his own.

He has zero concern for any other parties of a business transaction. His only concern is himself winning at all costs. Doesn't matter if he has to destroy the other party. That's what he will do. So, for instance, when he had work done on his failed casino project, he stiffed the contractors. If they tried to fight him he turned his numerous powerful slick lawyers on them, forcing them into so much expensive time delays, filings and litigation that they couldn't possibly prevail, even if they won they would be out so much in legal expenses and time lost that they lose anyway. He operates exactly the same way Walmart does when it comes to going to court. He goes for the jugular, and uses everything at his disposal to destroy opposition.

President Trump is the epitome of government corruption.

He may not be able to get Mexico to pay for his wall, or build it ten feet higher like he said when they won't pay for it, but he has deepened and widened big money government corruption in The Swamp by ten times.

So, everything is the opposite of what it is really supposed to do:

The Environmental Protection Agency has become the Fossil Fuel Industry Protection Agency.

The Department of Education has become the Department to Sell Out Education To Private Industry.

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has become the Financial Industry Profit Protection Bureau.

And the Department of the Interior has become the Department of Resource Extraction For Profit.

What a crock. And his supporters won't even admit it. Blinded by a tax cut.

Trump and swamp creatures: "Hey. We're going to rip off the government and all the next generations as we loot the nation. Can we buy your silence with a temporary tax cut for most (but of course permanent for the rich and big corporations?)"

Trump supporters: "SURE! Sounds GREAT to US! Nice to see you Making America Great Again, and draining 'the swamp.' (Meaning: dismantling the government and any credible industry oversight.)"
