It's not the first time the Jewish actress has criticized the Israeli government.

From Al Jazeera to the US mainstream. A little bit of fame goes a long way.

OPie is creaming his jeans over Natalie Portman?
Or peeing his pants over something she said?
It's difficult to tell!
Funny, I know dudes...and women, who are Jewish and don't like Israel but do they matter? No. An actress matters. Go fuck yourself prog bitches.
Don't be afraid to see what you see
Yeah- but you've HEARD of Natalie Portman. You HAVEN'T heard of the biggest, most dedicated and most veteran philanthropist in Israel- who agrees with Portman.

Of course it is her business. She's an Israeli citizen. If Israel's racism isn't even the business of Israeli citizens, whose business is it, exactly?
Anyway, I applaud her consistency here. I see too many liberals who bash the US for conduct that they excuse when it's Israel. If race-based discrimination is wrong, it's wrong for Israel, too.
