I can understand those who are full of insults and hate doing that, but many here pretend to care about their fellow man and the unfortunate, but they really hate them if their color, age, educational level or political views are not in lockstep with their own. I can remember fondly when liberals were more tolerant, today both liberals and conservatives are willing to restrict freedoms and even the lives of those they dislike.

The point isn't that conservatives are being wished to death, they are killing themselves. WHY is the point.

No, there is nothing in that article or the study itself that even mentions political orientation. That was a huge leap on the part of some posters who made the negative, bigoted generalization that white middle-aged people with a high school diploma or some college must be conservative. The black mortality rate is much higher than whites, but the same generalization was not made about them (because there was not an increase).
