Dr. Lomas, my history and government teacher had a one hour lecture every day! But, he made them very entertaining, interesting, with a little light humor added in for fun, and would randomly ask questions to individuals in the class.

His homework were always reading assignments. He said, "Don't ever come into my classroom unprepared to answer questions about what was covered in the reading assignments"!

The first time, I didn't do the reading and came to class, he caught me by not being able to answer his question, and he said, "No problem, we'll be having a new assignment tonight, and tomorrow, YOU're gonna give the lecture, while I kick back and watch from my desk"!

Well SHIT! LOL!

It was High School!

Incidently Dr. Lomas had just recently acquired his Doctor's degree and went on to teach at SMU after our graduation!

He was everyone's favorite teacher! We were all lucky to be his students!
