No wall is going to keep out people who are really determined to enter and these historical sites prove it.
Oh well, screw it, they’re going to get in anyway lol?
The Vatican Walls go back to 800 Anno Domini [thats 800 years after Christ, for the unenlightened]. Apparently, at that time—and at times after, hordes of attackers tried to take down the Holy See. Well guess what? Technology hasn’t changed anything.
Walls as are effective now as they have ever been. High-end subdivisions are gated for security purposes. It’s based on exactly the same principle as a wall. No, they’re not 100% effective but they’re very effective and history will attest to it.
In fact, even if the Vatican Walls currently have holes in them—the Pope is historically wrong. For many centuries, the Vatican was protected by walls.
He has no historical basis to criticize Trump.
