Default Canada detains huawei executive for US extradition

    https://www.scmp.com/news/china/arti...sented-company

One of the most underreported news items recently. I don't think people understand how big this is. Meng wasnt detained in the US. She was detained in what is for all intents and purposes a western third party. If you can get detained in Canada, you can get detained in France, UK, Germany, etc.

The girl detained is basically a chaebol. One of the privileged few in China. If their movements are constrained, for instance like by the potential to get extradited to the US from any first world country, they can force Xi to make concessions.

Brilliant move and the next step towards the Trump-Xi brinksmanship. It will be intersting to see how China responds.

Canada is in a tough spot. They don't want any problems with China. They don't want one of THEIR citizens 'arrested' in China.
    What happens now?

Does Canada grant Bail, ... then Meng Chow Mein (or whatever her name is) mysteriously find herself back in China?

If China pulls a stunt against Canadian citizens, it will give Trump an excuse to threaten all kinds of new tariffs. Similarly, if China wants an agreement, and any sort of relief from Trump's recent policies, they'll want to back off of Canada.

Do you think China has options though? Extradition to the US is a loss for China whether she's guilty or not. If China wants to avoid that they have no choice but to try to put the screws to Canada. I don't think it'll work but what else can they do?

You know how 'we' look at North Korea 'arresting' Americans as a form of 'kidnapping', ... I'm guessing China looks at this is a similar way.

China has now taken the Industrial Base of America and the West. They no longer 'need' America for Technology.
Asia (think India and China), along with Africa and the Middle East are fertile grounds for MILLIONS of Consumers of cheap Chinese products. China doesn't 'need' America as a consumer base.

She's been kidnapped- and the US wants some form of ransom.

If a US citizen had been so lifted in -say- Iran, then they'd have the fucking bombers warming up.
I'm truly sickened by American hypocrisy. I think the country is fucked rotten by billionaire mobsters.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out. I think China sees this as a direct planned attack.
I wonder if after a few trans-Pacific phone calls, this just doesn't turn out to be a big 'computer mistake' and everything goes back to how it was?

They kidnapped her while Trump was sitting at the table with the Chinese. Bolton was there too- and he knew about it.

Bolton ought to be kidnapped. He'd have to be worth at least a hundred bucks.

Bolton would be left behind. He would have to be sacrificed. (Couldn't happen to a nicer guy)

Lucky for us, the PMOC is a moron, and may not be able to fully comprehend the consequences of whatever threats the Chinese serve him with.

That's because Marxists have no concept of reality, let alone the rule of law.

    The fuck they don't.
    You are a true retard.
It is the responsibility of every American citizen to own a modern military rifle.

The 'Reality' is: China is putting a Lunar Rover on the far side of the moon, ... while America can't figure out or afford to get to the International Space Station.

"Beijing (CNN)China is poised to become the first country to explore the far side of the moon with the launch of a lunar rover Saturday, another step to its goal of becoming a space superpower."
