Kevin Parker, a New York DEMOCRAT, has proposed a bill that would require gun license applicants to provide access to their social media platforms and Internet search history to law enforcement. Licenses could be denied for "biased language."

"It's a new time. It's a new technology," Senator Parker said. "It's time that we in fact start having that conversation about how we monitor social media."

The bill would require applicants to turn over login information to allow investigators to look at three years' worth of Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter, and Instagram postings. Google, Yahoo, and Bing searches over the previous year also would be checked.

Bill and Hillary Clinton have been forced to resort to selling half price tickets for their 13-city tour on Groupon in a desperate bid to rally DEMOCRATS.

The former president and first lady launched their tour in a Canadian hockey arena last Tuesday to an underwhelming crowd and swaths of empty seats.

Ticket prices were plummeting shortly before the event, with the cheapest seats selling on Stubhub for single-digits - less than $5.

Now the couple are taking drastic action to avoid embarrassment on the Clintons tour.

They have slashed tickets by up to 60 per cent, and even offered them on Groupon, to try and entice more fans to come and listen to them speak.

The tour is currently on "a break for the holidays" and reconvenes on April 11, 2019.

Despite the site telling customers that 'tickets are selling fast!' with 'limited time remaining,' it appears that less than 450 discounted tickets have actually been sold.

DEMOCRATS plan to push a bill to require a background check for every gun in America. Rep. Mike Thompson (DEMOCRAT-Calif.) plans to introduce a bill that will require universal federal background checks on all gun transfers.

Currently, federal law requires licensed firearm retailers to run background checks on potential purchasers.

Private sellers, such as vendors at gun shows, are required to perform background checks by state law in most jurisdictions.

Other states require private dealers to only sell to people with licenses or permits, which themselves require background checks.
