Fake News Warning. The give away is the lack of links for an outrageous story.

The Finnish Supreme Court declined to hear a case of a migrant accused of aggravated rape... so we really don't have a smoking gun of what the Finnish Supreme Court considers... (The US Supreme Court would have done exactly the same thing, because of double-jeopardy.)

The migrant was convicted of rape (statutory, not aggravated), and that conviction stands, so the Finnish legal system does in fact consider sexual abuse of a 10-year-old to be rape.

If you're not happy with the verdict, then demand the lawmakers, not the courts, strengthen rape laws. In fact, the US needs to return to stricter laws against crime, including liberal use of the rope.

[Sigh, so many dumbshits, so little time.] Denying an appeal is not ruling on a case. And, everything else I pointed out still stands.

If I'd said it was "ruling on a case", you'd have a point. Since I didn't, you don't.

    It does?

    What lie? What "half-truth?"

In a case that has triggered public outrage, a top Finnish court has upheld a ruling that sex between an asylum seeker and a 10-year-old girl didn’t constitute rape. Critics are calling for harsher sentences for child abuse.

Finland’s Supreme Court rejected a request from the prosecution to appeal a three-year jail term for a 23-year-old man on Thursday. Finnish media identify him as Juusuf Muhamed Abbudin, an asylum seeker, but don’t reveal his country of origin.

The man was convicted of aggravated sexual abuse, although the prosecution had sought a harsher sentence on charges of aggravated rape. However, the court left the original verdict unchanged.

The incident took place near the city of Tampere in southern Pirkanmaa region in autumn 2016. The man had sexual intercourse with a girl, who was 10-years old at the time, in the yard of a deserted apartment block. He also exchanged sexually charged messages with her.

Both Pirkanmaa District Court and the Appeal Court in the city of Turku convicted the asylum seeker of aggravated sexual abuse and handed him a three-year prison sentence in 2017. The courts didn’t recognize the incident as rape, saying the girl wasn’t forced into the sexual act or overcome by fear. The judges also ordered the man to pay the child €3,000 ($3,600).

The decision fueled fierce debates across the country. Tuula Tamminen, professor of Child Psychiatry at the University of Tampere, insisted that the child simply couldn’t know what was happening in such a situation.

    Then there's this:

Seven men have been arrested in Finland accused of repeatedly raping a ten-year-old girl in a grooming case that has shocked the Scandinavian country.

The girl has allegedly been subjected to multiple sexual assaults over several months in the suspects' homes in Oulu in northern Finland, police say.

The men, aged 20 to 40, all arrived in Finland as migrants or refugees in recent years, and are thought to have made contact with the victim on social media, local media reports.

Dr Helen Webberley has been restricted from treating transgender patients unsupervised while the General Medical Council (GMC) looks into her case.

The investigation was launched after two doctors complained to the GMC about Dr Webberley's private clinic, which specializes in gender issues.

She told the BBC she had given cross-sex hormone treatment to one 12-year-old and three 15-year-olds, despite guidelines that they be given at 16 or over.

Stephanie Davies-Arai, of campaign group Transgender Trends, which raises concerns about gender treatment among children, said she was "very concerned" by the move toward "earlier and earlier" treatment for "younger and younger" children.

"These are huge, life-changing effects on children's bodies, on children's lives, and we need to be very, very cautious before presenting this treatment pathway to minors," she said.

You quoted, "Finland’s Supreme Court ruled..." when they in fact did not rule. You just keep digging your hole. And, the OP post is shameless in its misrepresentation of the case.
