I would suggest that hardcore leftists don't hate the country. But they would likely have different priorities from what has been the longstanding status quo in America. I describe it as 'socially responsible capitalism' and I'm promoting the idea here for discussion.
I'll hit it off by saying that my impression is that American is too involved in greedy capitalism that doesn't consider social responsibility to the people as a priority. What I'm promoting is often seen by the political right as socialism but I contend that it is not. And I think that this forms a huge part of the political divide in America today. There's much more to say on the topic but I'm only at the point of hoisting up a trial balloon on this section of the forum in order to feel out whether or not decent discussion and debate is going to be appreciated and tolerable. In my opinion of course.
