We are not on the same page with this discussion. It's way deeper than what you describe above. Equality not as in material things, but in equality as a people. We are still not equal.

You cited America's wealth inequality as comparable to France and Russia. I didn't bother pointing-out that those were oppressive monarchies, with aristocratic societies, because, I didn't see the need to point-out the obvious.

America is a Western liberal democracy, which means that the culprit in wealth inequality is some quite the opposite of monarchy and aristocracy (again, obviously).
