I agree with Sherrod Brown on trade.
Trump is literally too stupid, uninformed, and arrogant to be trusted to manage America's trade policy. He does not know what the eff he is doing.
I have never advocated for presidents that bluster about "trade wars are good and easy to win". Schoolyard bluster belongs in elementary school, is not the province of sober adults, and does nothing to render China's trade practices more equitable with respect to us.
But trade is one area that progressives in congress might see some daylight in possibly moderating Trump's ignorance and lack of skill, and cooperating. The problem is, I thing Trump's arrogance and ignorance are almost insurmountable.
