I would be ashamed and embarrassed if my candidate was given the opportunity to rule even after having lost by ten million votes.
everybody knew the rules -everybody campaigned accordingly for EC votes

Putting politics aside for a moment, does anyone here actually think Seth Meyers is funny? I've never understood why he has the career he has.

I wonder if he mentioned that they don’t decide winners through the popular vote. I can’t be bothered to watch. I can’t stand the guy.

The EC is an archaic system established to protect the influence of slave economy states, and further I really do not think the founders envisioned a system in which one party was continuously losing the popular vote but was still being given a stranglehold on power.

You should be embarrassed that your popular vote losing president lost by three million votes, you should be embarrassed that the Republican Party now routinely loses the popular vote and has to rely on gerrymandering and voter suppression to maintain a stranglehold on power.

But it would actually take a genuine commitment to the tenets of western liberal representative democracy for you to understand that.

It really is not wonder that Vladimir Putin is the reigning hero of the Kremlin-supported GOP.

I wouldn't know how republicans think. I'm a card carrying libertarian.

Me too. What if your candidate legally won with 10 million less votes?

A sad commentary on we, as a people, and our viewpoint of our freedom can be summed up like this. We have liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans, yet those very people look at Constitutionalists as radical and extreme.................so those liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans must believe that the constitution is radical and extreme.

No, same thing with Fallon. Colbert destroys both of them, as does Conan.

why would I be embarrassed that Trump way out campaigned a lazy and sickly Hillary to win her Blue Wall?
as much as you despise Trump, he beat her ass fair and square -no Russians needed !
    ~~

as to the EC your post has heavy reliance of a partisan outcomes critique
