Default Trump is now "too busy" to recognize soldiers and Veterns,

"Rep. Don Beyer (D-Va.) on Sunday dismissed President Trump's claim that he hasn't visited U.S. troops overseas because of a "busy schedule."

"Beyer noted in a tweet that Trump has frequently spent time as president golfing and visiting his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida."

"Asked by Chris Wallace why he has has not visited American troops stationed in Iraq or Afghanistan since he took office, Trump cites his 'unbelievably busy schedule.' So far he has spent 1 of every 4 days golfing, and 2-3 months at Mar-a-Lago," Beyer, whose father was an Army lieutenant colonel, wrote."

"The president had no public events scheduled on Monday upon his return to Washington, when Veterans Day was observed as a federal holiday."

“I was extremely busy on calls for the country, we did a lot of calling as you know,” he told Fox News"

Guess he could only use his lame Secret Service excuse once, now he's "too busy."

Appears he confused his promise not to play golf cause he would be "too busy" with not to take time to personally recognize Veterns cause he was "too busy"

one of these days you'll get over it.. maybe .

It's been explained that the reason Trump did not get to the Paris cemetery was not because he didn't want to get his hair wet.
He got in late the night before Veteran day.
Are you happy Trump said that was a "mistake?" there's your validation for TDS

Yeah, Trump sincerity saying it was a "mistake" is about as credible as Trump saying he would be too busy to play golf, truth being, he don't give a flying fuck about soldiers, Veterns, nor Miltiary heroes, unless of course, he can pimp them for political gain, then he is all about the military

Trump does not care about soldiers, sailors, airman, marines, or coast guard.

He does not care about the citizenry of our great country from which our forces are drawn.

    He cares about himself, period.

    Poor asshives.

We all know how deeply you care for our armed forces.
Free speech is cool as long as it jibes with our program.

First off, I ain't President, second, I don't boast that "I love the military," but are "too busy" to go out of my way to honor their sacrifice, and lastly, been there, done that, got anything real to offer?

Trump said he was busy making calls. If only he had a phone he could take with him. Perhaps someday we will have cell phones that can call from nearly anywhere.

    listen to your bile.
That's about the most fucked up thing I've ever read by anyone here. even partisan pundits would never claim Trump
( or any POTUS) doesn't care about the military.

Recall he swallowed a lot of excess spending he did not want negotiated by Ryan and the Dems to
fix the damage sequestor did to the military.

What part of "unless he can pimp them for political gain" did you miss?

Trump didn't fix "the damage the sequester did to the military," the entire Congress worked that thru, can you recall many Congressmen in either House that wanted to coninue that sequester? Or specific legislation the White House initiated? Trump, just like he does a lot of things, took full credit when in reality he was a minor player at best

And he don't care about soldiers nor Veternsm, unless of course he can get a photo op in the White House, his recent ignoring traditions coupled with his numerous past dissing of military figures only reinforces that reality

It wasn't done by the House -Congress didn't work anything thru except a final vote.
it was done by the leadership- negotiated by the players and then voted on .

Trump actually did NOT take full credit.
Instead he slammed the process and said he would never sign such a monstrosity again!
Does that sound like he was "pleased and took full credit"?

but in this case was forced to because our readiness ( personnel /parts ) was being severely impacted

He missed the Veterans day tribute because he just got in from overseas.
I've completely disabused the meme you guys were tossing around that Trump did not go to the Paris cemetery because "he didn't want to get his hair wet"
It was all about the logistics of not getting there by chopper, and a motorcade route was too complex, insecure
and would require massive road closings..

You've lost all rationality. too bad -you used to be one of the few Dem posters I thought had it together
I don't know how you were diverted / You were perverted too
I don't know how you were inverted / No one alerted you

Now think about what you just recorded, Trump doesn't take full credit? How many times has he echoed he was the best President to the military in American history? He even used that attempting deflection on why he couldn't find the time to visit Arlington

The Paris "excuse" comes from Trump and the White House, really credible sources there, and don't bother with regurgitating the SOP and implying that that was the case, no one has provided anything actually from those sources stating such

Too tired from his trip is lame, even he didn't employ that one, Trump told America he was too busy, "making important phone calls." And two years in and he has yet even hinted let alone actually visited any military close to harm's way, yet he finds time in his "busy" schedule for weekend golf junkets

Trump has never shown any evidence above lip service that he appreciates the sacrifice and service of the military. One doesn't publicly diss military heroes nor veterns if they really understood what it meant to be a member

Prove it, show us something Trump did beyond a photo op or regurgitating the expected rhetoric, give us concrete proof,
and it would have to be good because there is plenty instances where he has done just the opposite

As we approach the end of President Donald Trump's first year in office, the list of extraordinary things he has done — for both good and ill — is nothing short of remarkable. Trump inspires such deep emotions in his critics and supporters that many have struggled to objectively assess his presidency. Some are so blinded by their hatred of Trump that they refuse to acknowledge the good he has done, while others are so blinded by devotion that they overlook almost any transgression.

In my columns, I’ve tried to give Trump the credit he deserves when he does the right thing, while calling him out when he does the wrong thing. So, here is my list of the 10 best things Trump has done in his first 11 months. (In a subsequent column, I will give you my list of the 10 worst.)

    10. He enforced President Barack Obama’s red line against Syria’s use of chemical weapons. When the regime of Bashar Assad used a toxic nerve agent on innocent men, women and children, Trump didn't wring his hands. He acted quickly and decisively, restoring America’s credibility on the world stage that Obama had squandered.

    9. He has taken a surprisingly tough line with Russia. Trump approved a $47 million arms package for Ukraine, sent troops to Poland’s border with Russia and imposed new sanctions on Moscow for violating the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty.

    8. He recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. Four American presidents promised to do it, but only one actually did. This is why the American people elected Trump. He does what he promises to do, for better or for worse — in this case, definitely for the better. Even Jeb Bush tweeted his approval.

    7. He withdrew from the Paris climate agreement. After George W. Bush pulled out of the disastrous Kyoto treaty, U.S. emissions went down faster than those in much of Europe. The same will be true for Trump's departure from the Paris accord. Combined with his approval of the Keystone XL pipeline, and opening of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge to exploration, Trump is helping usher in a new age of American energy development.

    6. He got NATO allies to kick in $12 billion more toward our collective security. Decades of pleading by the Bush and Obama administrations failed to get NATO allies to meet their financial commitments to the alliance, but Trump’s tough talk and reluctance to affirm America's Article V commitment did the trick. NATO is stronger as a result.

    5. He has virtually eliminated Islamic State's physical caliphate. Trump removed the constraints Obama placed on our military and let it drive the terrorists from their strongholds.

    4. He admitted he was wrong on Afghanistan and reversed Obama's disastrous withdrawal. In a rare admission, Trump declared: “My original instinct was to pull out. ... But all my life, I've heard that decisions are much different when you sit behind the desk in the Oval Office. ... A hasty withdrawal would create a vacuum for terrorists.”

    3. He enacted historic tax and regulatory reform that has unleashed economic growth. Trump signed the first comprehensive tax reform in three decades and removed the wet blanket of Obama-era regulations smothering our economy. We are now heading into our third consecutive quarter of above 3 percent growth.

    2. He is installing conservative judges who will preside for decades. With his appointment of Neil M. Gorsuch, Trump secured a conservative majority on the U.S. Supreme Court, and he is moving at record pace to fill the federal appeals courts with young conservative judges.

    1. He, not Hillary Clinton, was inaugurated as president. Trump delivered the coup de grace that ended the corrupt, dishonest Clinton political machine.

There are many other significant achievements that did not make the top 10. Trump has taken a clear, strong stand against the narco-dictatorship in Venezuela, and he renamed the “Asia-Pacific” the “Indo-Pacific” to include India in the larger task of preventing Chinese hegemony in Asia. Trump has made clear that he is willing to use force to stop North Korea from deploying nuclear intercontinental ballistic missiles capable of destroying U.S. cities — which has prompted China to finally put real pressure on Pyongyang. We’ll see if it works.

The record of achievement suggests that, despite the noxious tweets and self-inflicted wounds emanating from the White House, Trump has the potential to become one of the most consequential conservative presidents in modern American history. The question is: Does all this good outweigh the bad?

None of that, absolutely none of it, zilch, zero, is any proof that Trump gives a rat's ass about the military, yet there exists plenty examples of Trump dissing the military

Actually, what you offered as "proof" reads more like a Sean Hannity script than documentation of anything

Want to try again, cause from what you offered as proof puts you as the "moron" "sitting in the corner"
