I knew he was either border collie or possibly a cross. The good part is that most of the crosses take on the border collie's traits, and especially when the other breed is Burmese mountain dog.

As far as purebred is important in Border Collies, your dog could be bred with a border collie and according to the standard set, would qualify as well as any pure Border Collie. The important aspect, and the only important aspect is in it's intelligence.

Border Collies are not accepted for their looks or their size and a 100 pound Border Collie is a real asset. Conformation is not a consideration. Something you might already know?
